I bought this fun journal a year ago and have yet to put the ink to the paper. Kellye also has the same journal and we thought it might be fun to work on them as a group. It's called "Permission to Dream Journal: Write, Collage, and Play Your Way to Living the Life of Your Dreams". It's the perfect journal for those who don't always think of something new to write everyday. There are questions/themes on each page to think about (i.e. your dream vacation). Opposite each page is a pocket folder for photos, magazine clippings, etc. For those who attended the Vision Board meetup (or have made one on their own ), the journal could be a nice continuation of this idea. Click here to buy it through Amazon. I bought my copy at Barnes & Noble, so you don't have to order it online. Not too expensive - about $14-$15 at B&N. We can work on them at my place (will email my address to those who don't have it). Feel free to bring snacks or not Working on the journal may be a good way to start reading "Dream Big" by Lisa Hammond for the book club meetup on April 1st!

The Model Matzah Bakery is the ultimate hands-on, Passover educational tool! The exhibit recreates a functional model of the hand-made Matzah factories used by Jews for thousands of years. The children Ã?Â"reliveÃ?Â" the exodus from Egypt as they pound out their very own Matzah. Beginning with a sheave of wheat, they experience the hustle and bustle as they hurry to beat the timer to ensure that crunchy finished product is completed within 18 minutes! The delightful presentation creates an exciting interactive environment where the children have a great time learning about their heritage and the tradition of Matzah. This lively and educational exhibit is fun for all ages, and all participants take home their very own Matzah, plus real hand-made Matzah made from Israel! Also each child will creat their very own Afikomen bag! Children of all ages are invited to experience the incredible Model Matzah Bakery. From threshing and winnowing the wheat stalks, to kneading and rolling, each child will bake their own Matzah, from scratch. 5 dollars per person. RSVP to [masked] [masked] or www.jewishpeabody.com

"Dream Big: Finding the Courage to Follow Your Dreams and Laugh at Your Nightmares " by Lisa Hammond. When author Lisa Hammond followed her passion, she founded her own company, Femail Creations--a woman-oriented catalog company that grew into a huge success. Lisa loved shopping, thus the mail-order catalog. Because she's passionate about women making their way in the world, Femail Creations features only items crafted by women artisans. In Dream Big Hammond details how she and her sister entrepreneurs followed their dreams and managed their fears to become happy and successful. Lisa shares the lessons they learned, the mistakes they made, and the fulfillment they attained. Dream Big reflects Lisa's inspirational personality and drive, as well as her belief in the power of women connecting with women--from the artists whose products appear in Femail Creations to the women who buy those products. Dream Big is a virtual meeting place for women who want to live (and work) their dreams. By sharing parts of their stories and tips, the women who've done it lend a hand to those who still dream that "maybe someday". Readers will find inspiration, as well as hard-nosed advice, about how to pursue their passion--whether for business, creativity, family, or anything else--in spite of fear and inevitable missteps. Chapters include: Permission to Dream, Facing Fears, Attempting the Impossible, Owning Our Power, Trusting Our Guts, Persistence is Omnipotent, and Never Too Late. Dream Big shows women that the first step isn't writing a business plan--it's listening to yourself and taking your turn; it's managing your life from the heart with a "femail" touch. Hammond, who's known to her thousands of customers, friends, and family as the Barefoot CEO, didn't do things conventionally. That makes for hilarious stories, heart-stopping inspiration, and roll-up-your sleeves tips--a blueprint in action for their dreams.
